Shopping at the BMDCA Specialty 2016
Frankenmuth, MI, May 2nd to May 7th
By Joye Neff and Lori Friedli

In 1998, Pat Long attended her first National Specialty and upon returning home, she did a series of articles featuring the vendors from the Specialty. Joye Neff attended her first National Specialty in 1999, and Pat asked her if she would like to continue the “Shopping at the Specialty” series. Joye has done the “Shopping at the Specialty” series every year since then and knows that those of you who are not able to attend the Specialty love seeing the photos of the items at the vendors’ booths and reading about what they were selling.

Thank you also to Deb Godfrey, Cheryl Sams, and Vilma Briggs for transporting the prizes to me that the vendors donated to the 2016 Berner-Garde Fundraiser.

Joye was not able to attend the Specialty this year, but she had fantastic help and support from Lori Friedli. Lori took photos of the booths, distributed and collected the reporting forms from each of the vendors, and collected the items each vendor donated for the 2016 Berner-Garde Fundraiser. Through this series, you will be able to feel like you were at the Specialty. You can place orders via the vendor websites or the vendor’s email addresses or websites. Be sure to mention that you saw their Berner items on the Shopping at the 2016 Specialty series. THANK YOU Lori for your expert help with the Shopping Series.

Once again Jean Cheesman made a website of the photos of each booth and the daily articles about each vendor so you can see the items they sold at the Specialty. THANK YOU Jean!!

Happy Shopping!!
